On Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, we will be hosting our “Get on the Ballot” Virtual Fundraiser, an event designed to raise awareness of the impact of a number of our federal government's current failed policies, and how progressive solutions can improve lives for ALL Americans. In Florida, ballot access for a statewide race like U.S. Senate is controlled by a fee, based on the total number of registered voters in the state. The fee for 2022 is currently projected to be approximately $15,000.  

Candidates who accept money from lobbyists and large corporations have no problem paying this, corporate money always comes in early. For grassroots candidates, progressives, and those of us who do not accept money from corporations or lobbyists, it’s another story. Progressive money usually comes late, often times after the ballots are finalized, which means we need to work the grind relentlessly to keep getting our information out across the state, and then push even harder to get that extra money to secure our place on the ballot.

"Get on the Ballot" will feature four AMAZING speakers telling their incredible and unique stories, this is an event you won't want to miss. Speakers will be announced prior to the event.
